With a background as a Prop Stylist for photo shoots, videos and events, Gemma has spent years working
with clients to fulfil a creative vision. She has worked on a variety of projects from styling parties for Spotify
at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, art directing the latest BBC Christmas commercial and prop styling
for Nike Air Max Day. Her experience with materials, texture and colour continue to inform her work as a florist, bringing a contemporary and stylish feel to all arrangements.

After moving to Margate Ultramarine was born from a love of colour, sea, sky and nature, appreciating the outdoors and the fresh sea air. Not only is ultramarine Gemma’s favourite colour, it translates to ‘beyond the sea’ and the first accredited artist to use the synthetic pigment was J.M.W. Turner, whose work often pictured Margate’s seascapes. Ultramarine felt like the perfect fit for this floral journey.
